Second, Trials of Mana has a style of combat very similar to its predecessor, Secret of Mana. The best games are always the hardest ones! Be prepared to level up vigorously, and expect the game to require exertion and a good amount of effort. If you follow the instructions within, you should be able to finish the game in roughly 30 to 40 hours without ever dying.
First, Trials of Mana is a difficult game. There are a few concepts that should be understood before beginning the walkthrough proper. If you are playing the Japanese version certain characters and items will have slightly different names.

It was never officially released outside of Japan until the 2019 release of Collection of Mana, in which the game is given the localized name Trials of Mana. Go down the bridge that takes you to the mansion and you’ll reach a flower garden. You will find a cactus plant near one of the corners.įlowerbug Dior is the next area we will visit. Take the path with lava coming out of the walls. The next one is on the Fiery Gorge I area. Look under the bridge that takes you to the castle. The next one is in the Duskmoon Forest area. Look behind a house in the side of the city, there is an entrance that leads to the Lil’ Cactus. One cactus is found in the Desert Capital Sirhtan area. One is on the path with rocks on it while the other is near the geysers on the other path, near the Golden Angel Statue. There are two cactus plants in the Daria, Gem Valley I area. One is in the room behind the Gremlins and the second one is found when you head right from the crossroads. The next cactus can be found in the Crystal Desert I area. You will find the cactus when doing down the next exit point. Look in the opposite direction of the save point Golden Statue. There is another Li’l Cactus in the Chartmoon Tower VIII area. You can find it in the area with the crystal, to the left. The next one can be found in the Chartmoon Tower I area. Go left into the cave and you will find one near the treasure chest.
Take the path that won’t take you to the Golden Angel Statue. The next Li’l Cactus is in the Cascade Cavern area. The second one is down the narrow path leading to the pillars. The first one can be found under the falling sands by the plants. You can use the stairs on the right side to get up there. There is another one in the Ancient Capital Pedda. Look in front of the building in the northeast. Last on the Trials of Mana Li’l Cactus locations list, is the Snow Hamlet Alrant area. Use the gust to reach a ledge to your left and you will find the Li’l Cactus. In the Gusthall I area look inside the cave in the middle section. Head to Gusthall I and look in the southeast section of the map. Go to the Lakeside Town Astoria the Li’l Cactus is at the path of flowers to the northwest section of the map. There is another Li’l Cactus in the Rabite Forest by the shore to the northeast. Head to the Rabite Forest, go southwest and look near the treasure chest. The Li’l Cactus is to the right of the stairs. There is one in the Jadd Stronghold area. Look in the small alcove near the shore on the south side. There is another Li’l Cactus in the Heavensway I area. Locate the waterfall in the lower east section. The next Li’l Cactus is n the Heavsway I area. Go to the Polo Port area and you will find the Li’l Cactus next to a tree in the north, look near the well. Go to the weapon shop to the west, the Li’l Cactus is on the left side of the building. Now we are heading to the Merchant Town Beiser area. Go northeast from the statue in the middle of the town, look for the fenced area where the Li’l Cactus is hiding. The 6th Li’l Cactus is in the Valsena, Kindom of the Plains. Go south from the entrance and you will see the Li’l Cactus near the torch on the rock platform to the east. The next Li’l Cactus is at the Stonesplit II. Head south and you will come across another wooden bridge, cross it and you will easily spot your next Li’l Cactus. It is just part of the wooden bridge to the east. The next Li’l Cactus is at the Molebear Moors I area.
